How does Ginly AI work?

  1. Pick an effect from 100+ ready-made templates, such as AI hug videos, animated old photos or the Halloween AI trend.
  2. Add one photo from your camera or gallery and crop it. A few duo effects also let you make an AI video from two photos.
  3. Tap Generate. Credits are deducted, and third-party AI services create the video in the cloud.
  4. In your Library, play the video, save it to your phone or share it.

  • It does not put one person's face onto someone else.
  • It is not a photo editor or a live camera filter, and it creates no still images or avatars, only short videos.
  • It does not take a video as input or use more than two photos.
  • It does not make a photo speak, and we make no promises about sound.
  • It has no web, computer, Mac or Vision Pro version, and it needs an internet connection.
  • It does not show how anyone will really look in the future; results are imagined by AI.

Your photos and privacy

To create your video, the photo you choose is processed by third-party AI services (Fal.ai and PixVerse, as listed in our Privacy Policy). Their automated content filters may reject some photos; if a video fails, you can request a credit refund in the Library (limits apply). The policy lists the data collected: email address, uploaded images, device and usage information, and analytics data. You can delete your account in the app or ask us by email.

Responsible use

  • Use photos you have the right to use, and get permission before using someone else's photo.
  • Never use Ginly AI to deceive, harass, embarrass or impersonate anyone.
  • Videos are AI-generated: label them as AI when you post, and never present them as real events.
