AI Baby Generator: Turn a Couple Photo Into a Family Video

This AI baby generator turns a couple photo into a short video in which a laughing, AI-made toddler squeezes in between the two of you. You make it in the Ginly AI app from one selfie of you both, or from one photo of each of you, which the app sets next to each other. The child is imagined by the AI and is not a scientific or genetic estimate, so enjoy it purely as entertainment.

  • In the app: Meet Our Kid
  • Available on: iPhone, iPad and Android

What happens in the video

The Meet Our Kid preview begins as a close selfie of a young couple, cheek to cheek and smiling, in a bright room with ceiling lights. A small boy's head pops up behind them, and a moment later he leans in between their faces with his arms around their shoulders. The couple close their eyes and lean toward him from both sides, nuzzling his cheeks while all three laugh. It ends on the toddler in the middle of the frame, beaming at the camera between his two grown-ups. Only the couple came from the photo; the toddler is created by the AI.

How to make it with Ginly AI

  1. Start Ginly AI, tap Meet Me Effects on the Effects tab and pick Meet Our Kid.
  2. Leave Single Photo selected for a selfie of you both, or switch to 2 separate photos to add one photo of each partner; the app places them side by side in one image.
  3. Add the photo or photos, crop so both faces are clear (use the flip option if a selfie came out mirrored), and tap Generate.
  4. Open the clip in your Library to download or share it. For the version where a toddler leaps into your arms, go to Fun & Entertainment Effects and choose Baby Arrived.

Tips for the best result

  • A close, cheek-to-cheek selfie like the preview is the natural fit for Single Photo; leave a little room above and between your heads, where the toddler pops up.
  • With 2 separate photos, use two head-and-shoulders shots taken at a similar distance and in similar light, one adult per photo.
  • Upload photos of the two adults only. The child in the video is made by the AI, so there's no need for a photo of a child.
  • For Baby Arrived, use a photo of the two of you standing together, roughly from the knees up, with open space in front: in the preview the toddler leaps up from the front into the woman's arms.

Ideas to try

  • An anniversary surprise: turn a selfie of the two of you into Meet Our Kid and watch it together, and say it's AI-made if you post it.
  • Long-distance partners: use 2 separate photos, one of each of you, for a playful 'what if' clip you keep between yourselves.
  • A wedding-shower game: with the couple's OK, run their photo through Baby Arrived and play it for the guests as an obvious bit of fun.

Frequently asked questions

Can an AI baby generator show what our baby will look like?

No app can. An AI baby generator working from a couple's photos invents a child; it has no way of knowing what a real baby of yours would look like. Meet Our Kid is made for a playful clip of the two of you with an imagined toddler, so treat it as a bit of fun rather than a glimpse of a real child.

Which app makes the AI baby generator video?

Ginly AI makes it, and it runs on iPhone, iPad and Android. Look for Meet Our Kid in Meet Me Effects, or Baby Arrived in Fun & Entertainment Effects.

Is the AI baby generator free?

Downloading Ginly AI costs nothing, and new users may receive starter credits to try an effect, plus a daily credit gift when it's on offer. Making a video always uses credits, which otherwise come with weekly subscription plans. Offers may change over time.

Can we use two separate photos?

Yes, in Meet Our Kid: choose 2 separate photos and add one photo of each partner, and the app joins them side by side into one image before the AI adds the toddler. Baby Arrived takes a single photo of you together. The guide on making an AI video from two photos has framing tips.

Is this the same as a baby face filter?

No. The baby face filter makes your own face look much younger and the AI aging video brings in an older you, while the AI baby generator keeps both of you as you are and adds a separate, AI-made child to the scene.

Why was our photo rejected?

Automated content filters at the third-party AI services can turn down some photos, for example ones with nudity. A failed video gets a credit-refund button in the Library (limits apply). Use only photos of adults who agreed to be in the video, and never use a clip to announce a pregnancy or a child that isn't real.
